Dear TESOL-Ukraine executive committee, TESOLers,

It's my pleasure to thank you all for the huge job you've done preparing and running the TESOL-Ukraine conference for the first time.

Thank you Dr. Lisa Harshbarger, Alyona Sukhinina and Lilia Shylo for the help and support in preparing the conference and inviting key-speakers Christine Canning - the director of New England Global Network LLC, and Lisa Morgan - Fulbright Professor; Jennifer Herrin - Senior EL Fellow, and others who run workshops full of challenging and thought-provoking approaches to foreign language.

My huge THANK YOU to Svitlana Chugu - the First President of TESOL-Ukraine, the real parent and caring mom of it - for all the efforts to share her experience and parting directions to the young leader of TESOL-Ukraine!

Let me express my gratitude to Alla Radu and Lilia Kuznetsova for the Newsletter and informative report about all the activities done and planned ones inside it. I am sorry as everyone at the conference for their being unable to come. We really missed them very much.

Dear Ukrainian TESOLers,

The XII-th TESOL Ukraine Convention is history already, but TESOL Ukraine will thrive on its past accomplishments and ambitious plans for the future.

As usual it was great to meet the seasoned TESOLers who've been kindred spirits for years, as well as to see new enthusiasts.

On behalf of Vinnytsia TESOL-Ukraine group let me thank all the people who contributed to the annual Convention and the other events that were held

these last months. Special thanks to TESOL-Ukraine ex-Executive committee, with Alla Radu at the head.

Good luck to the new team.

Special thanks to PAS TESOLers, Dr. Lisa Harshbarger, Alyona Sukhinina and Lilia Shylo for understanding and continuous support.

Let me just add my two cents to Nina's wonderful e-mail--A big thank you to everyone involved in making the TESOL-Ukraine 2007 a huge success, from the staff at the National Academy of Management, to TESOL Kyiv's team of organizers, all of the terrific speakers from Ukraine, and the TESOL-Ukraine leaders who surmounted a constitutional crisis to move the organization forward to bigger and better things! I have full confidence that TESOL-Ukraine's work in the coming year will build on this success in maintain this organization's outstanding reputation as a group of energetic, enthusiastic volunteers that works for the good of every English teacher in Ukraine.

And of course, none of this would be possible without the enthusiastic efforts of Alyona Sukhinina and Lilia Shylo, both of whom work very hard to motivate and encourage English teachers from all parts of Ukraine to become involved in the important work that TESOL-Ukraine does.
